Ranitomeya fantastica "Lowland"

Line: Understory Enterprises.

Unknown filial generation.

Ranitomeya fantastica "Lowland" are copper, yellow, blue, and black. They are a thumbnail frog with a quiet call. Mature females and males are similar in length, measuring in around 3/4".

They do well in groups as long as they have enough space in a well designed enclosure. Males are said to have the potential for aggression with other males, but this is not something we have witnessed in breeding them. At a minimum, we recommend a 10 gallon vertical or equivalent size tank per pair. Size up as needed for additional frogs.

Natural location: Lowland species, inhabiting Peru.
